Climeworks started out as a pioneer in direct air capture and storage (DAC+S) technologies. Based on its own plants for removing CO2 from the atmosphere, the company launched its carbon removal offsets business about a year ago. Now Climeworks is adding carbon removal portfolios to its offering, complementary to its existing carbon removal service focused on direct air capture. First customer is Breitling.
