In 2020, we were asked to survive.
Our vow for 2021 is to live… better to have impact.
The virus will always be in ambush. But we are now accustomed, not resigned, but compliant. This is the new normal. There is no use looking back, let’s live the present, let’s design the future and for that, we need nothing less than a entrepreneurial positive attitude.
We can dream of a return to a reality known to all of us. We can indulge in the desire for a giant celebration that would celebrate the end of the COVID parenthesis, that would bring us all together, in a great common impetus that would crystallize our inconsolable need for encounters, action and sharing.
We can also dream of a completely different world, a world in which the evils of our world would be erased, a world of solidarity, respect, sustainability, a social world, of sharing that would not be challenged by the emergence of a small virus.
This period opens up an amplitude of possibilities for us. A future where everything can be reinvented, imagined, rethought.
We must be creative, attentive, opportunistic, leave our hatches open, relearn forms of sharing and living together. Currently we still don’t know when we will emerge from this tunnel that isolates us, and yet a 2021 Notebook we have written for you as a way to put your focus back on the job, to resist any psychosis and abandonment of ambitions, to structure your ideas, to push back the horizons, to invent a new world.
We believe that we can contribute to this renewal. We have created this notebook to serve as a high-level guide and overview of some key questions and issues that may confront you, the aspiring entrepreneur, as you begin your quest to launch a new project.
Something brand new is waiting for us, another pace to take, a fallow territory to explore, something absolutely exciting: the new normal.
2021 is to be written, so let’s write it together.
