In an official inauguration ceremony, held on Monday, December 7 at the University of Zurich, the start of the operations at Wyss Zurich center were celebrated..
Among the guest of organizers were honored to welcome Swiss entrepreneur and philantropist Hansjörg Wyss and the Federal Councilor Johan Schneider-Ammann who emphasized the importance of this strategic cooperation between ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich.
During the ceremony, the four initial projects of Wyss Zurich (Liver4Life, LifeMatrix, Zurich Eye and HeartOne) were presented in a video. New projects, which are aimed at developing new treatments for Multiple Sclerosis, type 2 diabetes and spinal cord injuries were also announced. The Multiple Sclerosis project, ETIMSred has already started in October 2015.
