Geneva pharma network brings together 300+ members for professional development

The Geneva Pharma Network (GPN) is now officially a not-for-profit association with over 300 members. Born of a desire to help pharma and other life sciences professionals make connections by organizing live events, the group held its first General Assembly on December 3, 2013 to vote on its articles of association and elect an executive committee.

Arthur Roach, the GPN’s newly elected president, emphasized the importance of face-to-face meetings: “The whole concept of our group is to allow people with like interests to connect in person – whether by traditional networking events, attending a presentation or by becoming involved in one of our workshops. It’s working: people are meeting, learning and having fun at our events, and we have even had one member hired into a new job through a contact made at one of our events.” A calendar of events for 2014 is currently being finalized and will be shortly available on the group website. All Lake Geneva area life sciences professionals are invited to sign up and take advantage of diverse networking opportunities to take place in the coming months.
